How Rotherham Driving Academy collects, uses and protects your personal information.

When you fill in our enquiry form, we collect your full name, age, address, phone number, email address, and your answers about lesson preferences, whether you've booked a test, and your driving experience. If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we'll hold whatever information you share with us that way.
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange and deliver driving lessons, and manage your booking (including test day arrangements). This is necessary to take the steps you've requested before entering into a contract with us, and to perform that contract once you become a pupil.
We may follow up directly with you about the enquiry you've made — for example, to answer your question or discuss booking lessons. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you wider marketing or promotional emails unless you've clearly agreed to that separately. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
Enquiry form submissions are sent to us using FormSubmit, a third-party form-processing service, purely to deliver your message to our inbox. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else except where we're required to by law.
This website uses Google Fonts to display text, and an embedded Google Map on our Contact page — both may collect limited technical data (such as your IP address) as part of their own services, governed by Google's own privacy policy. We don't run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
We keep enquiry and pupil information for as long as needed to provide your lessons and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of any follow-up queries, then delete it. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will, unless we need to keep something for a legal reason.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, just get in touch using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
